An afternoon with the Mattila's

In July we spent and afternoon at Grandma Mattila's. The kids had a good time playing with Papa's old toys!

The mom's in our neighborhood get together every Wednesday with the kids, lots and lots of kids! This was the one beach day we did in July.

Saugatuck

In June I shot a wedding in Saugatuck - one of our favorite Michigan places! We took the weekend to hang out together and of course go to the beach!

nana camp!

Over the summer Nana hosted "nana camp" for all the grandchildren. She had projects and nature walks planned. Some of the aunts weren't too thrilled with the bugs (mostly Amanda - lol) but the kids had a great time! Our crazy attempt to get all the kids in one spot - notice Egan making a mad dash off the blanket - and Kaylee looks like cousin It! :)

Visiting Papa (Elliott's) work

In July the girls and I went to Auburn Hills to visit Papa's family day at work. The girls loved the bounce house and slide and face painting was a big hit too! Dave of course love showing off his granddaughters too! ;) After that we stopped by the shop in Birmingham to visit Papa Mattila and Uncle Tim too to show off our fancy face (and arm) painting.

as usual I'm behind in my blogging! it's been a crazy summer! I'll try posting a bit each day and hopefully catch up before Christmas!
